At this time of national emergency, the organisational structure of our churches, potentially reaching into every community, and their volunteer bases are needed more than ever. </span></span>
<p><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">We're joining dioceses across the country in a campaign, to encourage as many people as possible to make a cross on Palm Sunday and place it in a window of their home.
<span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">While our church buildings are closed until further notice to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, making sure that your church's A Church Near You (ACNY) page is up-to-date is one way of keeping in touch with your community.</span></span>
<span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">If you're looking at ways you can make a #BiggerDifference during the </span></span><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">COVID-19 outbreak</span></span></span><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">, why not consider becoming an NHS Volunteer Responder? </span></span><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif">Set up to support the NHS, they need an 'army' of volunteers who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well.</span></span> </span>
