Bishop John Perumbalath joined other Christian leaders on Monday 22nd January at the start of the week of prayer for Christian Unity. The gathering was the first to bring leaders together to see how they can work better together and create a greater impact across our region.
Synod reconvened at the Friends Meeting House on Saturday January 20th to hear an update on the conversation with the national church regarding our financial support. In light of that, they were able to unanimously endorse the next stage of the conversation with the national church and overwhelmingly approve the diocesan budget for 2024.
The Bishop of Liverpool has called for our focus to be on the understanding of the Bible and biblical study in all we do over the next and future years.
