You can find out more about the roles and duties of an Associate Archdeacon here

Harry and Robert will start their duties in the autumn. They will be parish-based carrying out the associate duties for two days per week.

Bishop John said "Moving to three Archdeacons is a sensible missional decision but we were clear that to continue to be missional we need to bring support. Having these Associate Archdeacons in place will strengthen the support we can give to parishes and worshipping communities seeking to make a bigger difference. I thank God for Robert and Harry and pray for them as they start in this vital ministry"

Revd Robert Clark is currently the Rector of Holy Trinity, Wavertree while Revd Harry Wood is Team Vicar at St Helens Town Centre and DDO.
