Appointments:
- Revd Neil Cook – currently Priest in Charge of Goose Green St Paul and Wigan St James with St Thomas has been appointed as Team Rector (Designate) of the new Church Wigan Team. Neil will be licenced initially as Interim Rector of Ashton in Makerfield Holy Trinity and Assistant Curate of All Saints Wigan Team on 24th November by the Bishop of Liverpool pending completion of the Pastoral Re-organisation underway in Wigan.
- Revd Chris Gregory – currently OLM (Curate) to Crossens St John has completed his curacy and been appointed as Assistant Priest (OLM) to the North Meols Team Ministry. Chris will be licenced to this ministry on 6th October 2019 by the Bishop of Warrington.
- Revd Daniel Howard – currently Vicar of Orford St Margaret & All Hallows and Warrington Deanery Lead for Discipleship and Leadership Development has been appointed as Vicar of Anfield St Columba. A date for his Collation has not yet been set.
- Revd Harvie Nicol – currently Vicar of Formby St Luke has been appointed as Incumbent of Bury Roch Valley & Bircle in the Diocese of Manchester. Harvie will be instituted to his new ministry on 27th October 2019 and will conduct his last service at St Luke’s on 29th September 2019.
- Revd Graham Milford – currently Interim Team Vicar of the Sutton Team Ministry has been re-appointed as Interim Team Vicar of Sutton for one further period of up to 12 months from 30th September.
Retirements:
- Revd Jean Flood - currently Interim Team Vicar of the Walton Team Ministry will retire on 3rd October 2019.
- Revd Susan Jamieson – OLM to Clubmoor St Andrew retired on 30th June 2019
- Revd Izzy Schafer – OLM to Ashton in Makerfield St Thomas retired on 11th September 2019.
Posts Completed:
- Revd Canon Duncan Petty – completed his time as Area Dean of Ormskirk Deanery on 31st July 2019. Duncan continues as Minister in Charge of Oaks.
