Archdeacon Pete to take sabbatical

We pray for Pete Spiers, Archdeacon of Knowsley and Sefton as he takes sabbatical leave
from 26^th June to 4^th September 2023, 

During this time Bishop John has asked Rev Canon Anne Taylor, Vicar St Peter’s Formby, and Area Dean Sefton North to provide essential support for parish appointments and emergency pastoral support. Anne will continue with her current parish and deanery duties.

Bishop John said “I am extremely grateful to Anne for acting up as Archdeacon whilst Pete takes a well-earned sabbatical. Anne’s vast ministerial experience will be of great benefit to Knowsley and Sefton and I pray for her as she supports our mission and ministry over the next three months. My prayers are also with Pete and Annie as he takes his sabbatical.
