Roles at the Diocese of Liverpool

 

Cathedral Constable  - Liverpool Cathedral

An opportunity has arisen for two Constable posts for Liverpool Cathedral.  You will report directly to the Head Constable and work within the Constable team to provide a first class 24 hour security service for the Cathedral and its surrounding buildings.  You will encounter many people who visit, worship, volunteer and work at the Cathedral and you will be expected to be a great ambassador.

Communication and Engagement Support Officer - Liverpool Diocese

This two-year appointment is for someone who can help people understand what we are trying to achieve with our exciting programme, Fit for Mission. You will help us explain what this about through clear , crisp communication and storytelling helping people feel they know and understand what this project is all about.

As the Communication and Engagement Support Officer you will provide clear and engaging communication across our diocese, bringing Fit for Mission to life through compelling storytelling. You will help make sure we offer clear and consistent messages about our Fit for Mission work.

A significant amount of this role will be supporting local church leaders to communicate and engage well with their specific local audience and contexts.

Digital Content Officer - Liverpool Diocese

This is a key role in helping us tell our stories to achieve our vision to be a bigger church making a bigger difference. You will be someone who can extend our digital footprint by providing interesting content and sparky dialogue to help us engage with a wide range of audiences. You will be promoting our messages in a clear concise fashion.

The Digital Content Officer is an important part of a small communications team that supports the work of both Liverpool Cathedral and the Diocese of Liverpool. This permanent part time role gives freedom for an inspiring content creator who can encourage engagement with the events and activities of cathedral and diocese. You will be part of a friendly team that includes a Graphic Designer and Communications Manager who work together to deliver highly successful and eye-catching communication campaigns.

Management Accountant - Liverpool Diocese

The Management Accountant is an important part of our finance team that supports the work of both Liverpool Cathedral and the Diocese of Liverpool.  This permanent full time role gives opportunity to work independently within a team with exposure to a range of financial processes within a Charity setting.  This is a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Finance department, assisting in the production of management accounts, annual accounts and budgets for both the Diocese of Liverpool and Liverpool Cathedral, and taking responsibility for specific areas of work and assisting the Director of Finance in other areas throughout the finance function.

Organ Scholar - St Mary the Virgin Church, West Derby
