“Barbados built Liverpoolâ€, said the Revd Dr Michael Clarke, Principle of Codrington College, Barbados, as he opened USPG's Rethinking Mission 2019 Conference this year with the theme of ‘Remembering History', focusing on the legacies of the Transatlantic slave trade.
As we look back on the Tell Serve Give mission weekend, Bishop Beverley has written a letter of thanks and encouragement to parishes. Speaking on behalf of both bishops, she thanks our Diocese for the hard work and writes to encourage us to further action.
TellServeGive has been a resounding success as parishes, schools and community groups from across the Diocese welcomed visiting Bishops with enthusiasm and in great numbers.<br /> <br />
