Your Archdeacon, as the Bishop's representative, must admit Church Wardens to their office every year. This happens at the Annual Visitation Service. In our diocese, Sidespeople are also admitted, following their appointment by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), so as to affirm their important role.
The Visitation packs will be emailed out to clergy, Wardens and Secretaries shortly.
Church Wardens and Sidespeople are welcome to attend any Visitation in any deanery. This year’s will take place as follows:
