Generosity & Stewardship resources for the Winter Term
The National Giving Team and the Resources Team here in Liverpool Diocese have been developing resources for churches to engage churches in the subject of generosity and gratitude. If you are considering running a stewardship program or a Generosity Week – at any point in the calendar year - below are resources that you can use, including; children’s youth and families resources, liturgy, compline, prayers as well as social media graphics to help spread the word. Additionally, in partnership with York Diocese and our own Children & Families Missioner Sue Mitchell, we are in the process of developing prayer activities for the season of Advent that asks us to reflect on the theme of generosity through creative prayer. Look out for those resources coming in early November 2022.

Daisy Group, a premium partner of Parish Buying, provides a Mi-Fi device. This device, put simply, contains a SIM card that allows you to connect up to 10 devices to the internet. (there are options that connect larger numbers but naturally, these are pricier, do get in touch if you are interested in this option).
What it costs
The cost to purchase this device is a one-off £35 payment or £1.50 per month over 24 months. There is also a running cost to pay for the mobile data that is used by the device (RRP £23 per month), however, we have managed to negotiate the price down, pending the following conditions…
- Churches in Liverpool Diocese have the option to purchase a device with the running cost of £15 per month, down from the usual Parish Buying price of £18 p/m, under the conditions that we have a minimum number of churches purchasing a device.
Note: If we don’t reach the minimum requirement of churches, the price charged to you will be reversed to the Parish Buying amount of £18 per month. (still a very good deal!)
- This deal it is a 24-month contract.
