Sue Mitchell our Children & Families Missioner said " The challenges facing our churches in their work with children, young people and families throughout this pandemic are vast. The ever-changing guidelines mean it's hard to plan and put ideas in place and know it will stay that way! 
This combined with the stress of feeling we are failing our families means many leaders and volunteers are struggling in isolation.

My thinking behind adapting our series of " Open the Box conferences was to create a new strand that people can access from home. So OTB " Conversations" will offer a space where you be supported, share your ideas, chat with each other, and be resourced through input from a variety of speakers.
  
The Conversations will not have the formality of a conference setting but be a place to take some time for you, enjoy some space and reflection and meet with others dealing with the same issues.

For our first conversation, Dr Sarah Holmes Hope University will share her latest research "What works and doesn't work in family ministry over these last months and we will also share some Christmas resources for using with families
