Pastoral reorganisation of Ormskirk

A pastoral scheme has been made by the Church Commissioners which:

Terminates the Up Holland team
Unites the benefices of Up Holland and St Michael and All Angels Dalton into a new benefice which will be named ‘The benefice of Up Holland and Dalton’. This will be a rectory.
Unites the parishes of Up Holland and St Michael and All Angels Dalton into a new parish which will be named ‘The parish of Up Holland and Dalton’.

This comes into effect on 1st April.

This new parish of Up Holland and Dalton will have a new parish number 733.
