Ordained Local Minister

We value the work of our self-supporting ministers. Ordained Local Ministers (OLMs) fulfil a unique calling to serve the local community they know best.

Through training alongside ordained colleagues, Ordained Local Ministry emphasises the role of someone nurturing the community they know well.

OLMs are supported through a model of shared ministry. For an OLM to be accepted into ministry there needs to be a vision for shared ministry and a properly consituted team to support them in that work.

We value the dedicated service of our OLMs and have a bishop's adviser - Rev Sue Fulford - to support and advocate for this ministry amongst the senior clergy. To contact Sue, please email: sue.fulford@liverpool.anglican.org
