Mission and Ministry in the First Degree

Ten Readers from the Diocese of Liverpool presented with Foundation Degrees from Liverpool Hope.

Ten Readers from the Diocese of Liverpool were the first to receive Foundation Degrees from Liverpool Hope as part of their post-licensing training. They were presented with their degrees at Liverpool Cathedral.

After three years training for Reader licensing with the All Saints Centre for Mission & Ministry, they pursued a further three years of study and training to receive their Foundation Degree in Mission and Ministry.

Simon Chesters, the Diocese’s Director of Studies for Readers and Ordinands, said: “Huge congratulations to these ten people, who are the first Readers from Liverpool Diocese to receive this award. They have stuck with their training and study over the past six years and it’s very well deserved. It’s been a privilege working with them and every blessing to them in their future ministry”.

Those awarded the degree were:

Dot Baker
Keith Buckley
Scott Campbell
Wendy Cocks
Paul Foulkes
Tim Griffiths
