Providing data to support good decision making

As our diocese pursues our growth agenda we need to have a picture of what does and doesn’t work. We have two dashboards to paint that picture – an Attendance and a Finance Dashboard. We personalise each one for the particular parish using the information we receive through returns and annual finance reports. We encourage every PCC to engage with their dashboard and use it to make important decisions about the future direction of their parish.

Your Attendance Dashboard

This shows your attendance patterns on a Sunday and in the week. It reflects the impact of any fresh expressions you support. It shows how well attended your pastoral and festival services are.

Your Finance Dashboard
This gives a clear analysis of your finances, working from the figures you have provided, and poses some challenging questions to help you reflect and take action. It will help identify the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead and inform your budget preparation.

Using your dashboards

We want you to use these as a basis for your prayerful reflections and conversations about growth. What should you be celebrating? What challenges you to devote more time and focus to? How can you maintain growth as you aim to be a sustainable Christian presence in your community?

These are tools for mission. Tools to make it easier for you to understand your figures and to help you grow as a church community. Please use it for positive, creative discussions at your mission committee, church council or where you feel that conversation will work best.
