Canon Andrew White is internationally recognised for his relief & reconciliation work in Iraq & the Middle East.
He has been involved in many hostage negotiations & played a key role in ending the siege at the Church of The Nativity in Jerusalem during the Spring of 2002 & was also kidnapped himself in 2004.
Until recently, he pastored one of the largest churches in Baghdad where he is now the Emeritus Vicar.
Since returning from Iraq, Andrew personally supports a community of refugees that has fled Iraq & now resides in Jordan. Through Andrew’s ministry he provides them with healthcare, housing & schooling.
Canon White will be speaking at The Concert Room, Liverpool Cathedral, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 21st March.
